I
write on inspiration, information and current events and believe
that, in this book most people can find a link to themselves.
There
are fifty-two pages of inspired poetry including life and world
changing happenings. The book, POETREE,
reveals my
journey in
different ways. In some poems I
show my fascination with words and have fun with them as in my
poem,
“HAVE YOU KISSED A FROG TODAY”. It is a
revelation
for the
question posed.
“RING
A BELL” is a poem that touches the soul and speaks of the
footprints embedded in my heart; when my family was young.
This
is poetry written of current times where I can laugh at my self:

have a backache
that’s doing me harm
Last night I had
a gas
attack, a
blow to my charm
This
morning I
woke up and
found
a tick
Feasting on my
upper arm;
could
make me sick…” |
There are
family pictures with background importance; subtly placed to enhance
and personalize comfortable family attitudes. This
book
was put together by my daughter, Lois who is an author and
artist. The
back cover is adorned with her
beautiful oil painting of myself and a wonderful grandchild.

I
was
one of 7 writers at the event.
Included were Louise Barton, Thom Cherny,Walt
Giersbach, Lillian Heeney, Pat Pattan, Carl Perrin and
JerilynnWatlington, distinguished authors all. It was a
lovely
evening, the works were diverse and nothing parallels hearing the
words spoken by the author.
